Arena Rules
Be AWARE of pucks leaving the ice at all times.
No playing with pucks ALLOWED except on the ice.
No carrying of children on the ice at any time or during any program or rental.
The arena has only street parking. Please observe the posted parking regulations in the area.
Please remember that you are here to have fun and learn more about skating and hockey. Please remember that our house league is a recreational and learning place for all. Allow the kids to have fun, the score of the game means nothing! It’s the smile on the face of that happy child that matters.
All volunteers & coaches under 19 must wear helmets behind the bench and no children under the age of 16 allowed behind bench or, area near Zamboni Door Exit.
Adult players remember that you are here to have fun.
'In your face' hockey is not fun and "unsportsmanlike play" WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
The program reserves the right to remove players that in our opinion are overly aggressive in their style of play and may cause you to be ejected from any of the adult and youth leagues.

Arena History
Toronto Parks & Recreation Department constructed William H. (Bill) Bolton Arena in 1971.
The arena opened to the public in November 1971 and was operated by the Parks & Recreation Department until appointment of a Board of Management in January 1972.
Since 1972 the arena has gone from a rental facility to operating family programs.
Bill Bolton Arena is unique in its operations compared to that of other city arenas. The Board of Management creates programs that respond to community needs that are complementary to the facility and neighbourhood.
The Board of Management and staff want to thank the community for their support of the arenas’ programs. It is the community at large that has enabled this facility to be fiscally responsible and still maintain a high level of community programs.
Job Opportunities

Community residents, youth, high school, college or university students interested in part-time employment with the arena or; to fulfill high school co-op or community volunteer credits.
