Skate Sharpening

$9/pair. 5-10 minutes depending on who is ahead of you.

We offer experienced skate sharpening, which includes specialty hollows, goalie and figure skates.

What is a specialty hollow? Here is a word from Blademaster regarding "Radius of Hollow"

Skate sharpening is based on creating a radius of hollow (RoH) in a skate blade, which enables the skater to skate on two sharp, square edges. There isn’t one magic RoH for every skater. Each hollow has its advantages and disadvantages, and each skater makes an evaluation as to which is best for them. The profile of a skate blade hollow is not limited to a radius – there are an infinite number of shapes that can be transmitted onto a skate blade.

Equipment and Sticks

Our Pro Shop is well known for offering "Everything but skates!" Get all you need to play at an affordable price.

  • We carry CCM and Bauer equipment including helmets for ages 2 and up!

  • We carry a wide variety of entry-level composite sticks. These include Bauer, CCM, Warrior, Easton and True. This includes the popular Bauer Prodigy line for kids!

  • Low cost wood sticks for kids, under $20

  • Skate guards, hockey tape, stick wax, laces, deodorizer and more

  • Hockey cards and toys available as well. This includes Panini Stickers, Oyo figurines, replica mini sticks, BBA gear and more
